Specifications And Prices Of The Nikon Z Fc

Are you curious about the specifications, features and price of this latest Nikon Z fc camera? Come on, check out the next article.

Nikon Zfc design.

At first glance, looking at the Nikon Z fc is like looking at the iconic FM2 camera. The standard camera design features a distinctive two-tone silver and black accent.

This latest Nikon Z fc camera uses a magnesium alloy frame. So it’s not plastic that looks like metal, so we can be sure this camera is just as durable as its predecessor.

The dial on the top is also made of aluminum material with printed numbers which looks elegant. There are M, A, S and P, Auto and ISO shooting mode settings.

On the right side, the dial is equipped with mechanical controls for shutter speed, ISO, and exposure compensation.

When it comes to the color selection, the Nikon Indonesia dealer states that there will be only one variant at the moment, namely the classic black and silver colors. However, judging by the official Nikon website, this camera has six other color variants that are no less modern.

The other six colors are amber brown, white, natural grey, sand beige, coral pink and mint green.

Overall, the body is quite small at a combined 390 grams. Plus, with its kit lens combo, the Nikkor Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR, this camera is compact enough to slip into a bag.

Nikon Z fc Technical Specifications

In terms of specifications, the Nikon Z FC is a modern camera that has similar specifications to the Z50. To operate this camera, it comes with a vlogger-friendly 3-inch vari-angle TFT touch screen.

There’s also an OLED EVF with up to 100% frame coverage and 1.02x magnification.

The EVF is presented with a rounded design that reinforces the classic impression. If you want to film and not be distracted by the touch screen, you can fold the screen down.

Unfortunately, the latest Nikon cameras do not use a full-frame sensor to take pictures, but rather a 15.7mm x 23.5m DX. The sensor certainly still has qualified performance for photographic purposes, even in low-light settings.

Nikon Z fc resolution of 20.9 MP with an ISO range of up to 51200. Of course, this ensures the versatility of this camera to take pictures in different lighting conditions.

The shutter speed range is also quite wide, from 1/4000 to 30 seconds. Although the continuous shooting capacity reaches 11 frames per second, it is still enough for those who enjoy taking sports photos or bird watching.

When it comes to video recording, this camera performs very well, even the highest resolution it offers reaches 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 at 30fps and Full HD 1920 x 1080 at 120fps. Versatile, right?

For charging, this latest Nikon camera uses USB-C. In the meantime, you can use SnapBridge wireless connectivity for image transfer. And if you really need it, you can also turn it into a webcam, like many previous Nikon mirrorless cameras.
