To create a Google account from scratch, follow the steps below. This method can be performed on HP laptops and browsers.

1. Go to the Google account sign in page at https://accounts.google.com/signin.

If the page opens another account customization page, sign out.

2. After clicking the above link, you will be redirected to the Google account login screen. Click “Create Account”.

3. There are three options to choose from, namely “For me”, “For my children” and “To run a business”.

Simply select as needed. If you think this Google account will be used to run a business or become a business account, you can select “To run a business”.

4. Enter the first and last name.

5. Select the desired username.

If someone is already using it, you will be prompted to replace it. Interestingly, Google will make username suggestions that are still available.

6. Create a password and repeat it in the confirmation field (right next to the password field).

You must create eight or more characters that are a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols. The more complex, the better. Try to use a different password than other accounts.

7. Click “Next” or “Next”.

If necessary, add and verify a phone number for your account.

8. Click “Next” or “Next”.

When you’re done, you can add a recovery phone number or email address. If you forget your password, these two methods can rescue your account.

How to create a Google account with an existing email address
